"I paid for the ad-free version but the ad is still displaying. I have to go to the app settings to manually unselect the ad everytime i open the app. This is not the behavior expected from an ad-free version. Please fix or advise. Thanks."

And I am not able to refund the amount :( Well it is written as purchased but I cannot install the ad free version. Can google or the developer help me out here?
